Massoud Mansour, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Jahad and Head of Forests, Range and Watershed Management Organization (FRWO) met on Monday with Mohammad Sadegh Motamedian, Governor General of Khorasan Razavi province and Ali Zeinivand, Governor General of Kerman province to review current situation of the provinces including the subject of combating drought, land degradation and desertification, problems of ranchers and grazing livestock in rangelands and developments of IWM projects.

According to FRWO’s website, the meeting of Zagros Forest Management Working-Group, chaired by Dr. Masoud Mansour, Head of FRWO was held at FRWO Headquarters on Wednesday with the agenda of the review and edit the draft document on protection and sustainable management of Zagros ecosystem in the presence of a number of representatives and members of the executive bodies associated with the National Steering Committee for the Protection of Zagros Forests.
