Massoud Mansour, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Jahad and Head of Forests, Range and Watershed Management Organization (FRWO) met on Monday with Mohammad Sadegh Motamedian, Governor General of Khorasan Razavi province and Ali Zeinivand, Governor General of Kerman province to review current situation of the provinces including the subject of combating drought, land degradation and desertification, problems of ranchers and grazing livestock in rangelands and developments of IWM projects.

According to FRWO's website, the Governor General of these provinces praised FRWO for its natural resource activities in the watershed and aquifer sector and for implementing the integrated plan to combat sand and dust storm hotspots and desertification control projects.
