FRWO and Department in Headquarters to Combat Smuggling of Goods and Foreign Exchange (DHCSGFE) signed on Wednesday a memorandum of understanding to boost natural resources protection.

According to FRWO’s website, improving the cooperation between FRWO and Department in Headquarters to Combat Smuggling of Goods and Foreign Exchange (DHCSGFE) to combat the smuggling of major and minor products of natural resources, preventing the illegal logging and transportation of forest trees and by-products and strengthening of bilateral relations are among the important goals mentioned in the subject of MoU.

General Ali Moayedi Khorramabadi, Head of Department in Headquarters to Combat Smuggling of Goods and Foreign Exchange (DHCSGFE), at the signing ceremony of the MoU between FRWO and the Department in Headquarters to Combat Smuggling of Goods and Foreign Exchange, said: "Human life is dependent on natural resources and the Government is mandated to pass it on to the next generations."

According to FRWO’s website, Dr. Masoud Mansour, Head of FRWO in this ceremony, after signing the Memorandum of Understanding said: "FRWO, as a state authorized body has the responsibility of more than 80% of the country's public lands, and its main task is to protect the natural resources".
